With a massive 8kg wash load capacity the Bosch Logixx WAS28466 washing machine offers you the option to do a whole weekend’s laundry in one energy and water efficient wash. 15 clothes care programmes include a 1 hour power wash, a super-quick 15 minute wash, variable temperature control (including a 50 degrees option) and special options for reduced ironing, sports fabrics and darks.There’s a 24 hour timer delay to take care of the washing when you’re not there and gentle options for woollens and silks. A freshen-up programme is designed to refresh clothes without using detergent, an intensive option for stains and a mixed load programme which washes an assorted basket of laundry at 30ºC in 50 minutesThe WAS28466 washing machine's Express Wash system allows you to reduce programme times, and you can monitor the progress of any programme via the LCD display which also shows time remaining. Programme status is designated by easy to understand icons, so even the most laundry-shy members of the family can put on a wash.This Bosch washing machine also features the new Aqua Plus wash system where a higher water level ensures more efficient wash results. Water enters from three sides for quick and effective water distribution. During the wash, laundry is showered from above through specially designed paddles, ensuring gentle washing optimum usage of the water in the drum. Bosch Logixx washing machines also have specially designed asymmetric paddles for greater fabric care, with agitation and drum rotation dictated by the type of fabrics being washed. Sensors monitor and adjust performance at every stage of the wash; for example, two infrared beams assess how cloudy the water is at the rinse cycle stage, and adjust rinse length and number of rinses accordingly.Bosch guarantees that if an appliance is discontinued, its major components will be available for at least 10 years afterwards in the event of a part needing replacement.
